Donate to the Masonic Charity Trail Run Today!

Ogden Lodge No. 754 is a small Lodge (less than 100 members) but over the last three years, we've raised nearly $15,000 for charity through our Annual Masonic Charity Trail Run.  Much of that money came from sponsors and individuals who wanted to help us reach our goals.  So if you'd like to give a donation, large or small, know that it goes to worthy causes.  This year our charity is the Developmental Services Center.

Want to help us reach our goal?  Be a sponsor!  For as little as $150 you, your employer, or your business can be a sponsor of the 4th Annual Masonic Charity Trail Run.  $150 will get your name on the back of our event shirts, and the larger the donation, the larger your name will appear on the back of the shirt.

Not interested in giving a cash donation?  How about helping us with a door prize from your business?  We give away great door prizes each year which have included in the past gift certificates, free haircuts, wine tastings, spa days, steak dinners, etc.  It's a great opportunity to introduce your business to new customers and help out a great cause at the same time.

If your interested in being a sponsor, or donating door prizes, just contact us at:

Why The New 1.25 Mile Trail?

A new feature of our race this year is the new 1.25 mile trail.  Our 4.25 mile trail is challenging without a doubt, whether you're walking it or running it.  For the last three years, that's been the only option we've offered our participants.  But it can be intimidating for somebody that isn't a regular runner or isn't used to walking that far.

We hope our 1.25 mile trail will attract more participants interested in enjoying a nice walk in the woods rather than the rigors of our 4.25 mile run.  The shorter trail could be enjoyed by families with younger kids, or seniors.

I Don't Want To Run, But Can I Help?

A lot of people have contacted us over the years--they don't want to run the trail run, but they want to help.  The trail run is charity--all the money we receive goes to a different charity each year.  This year our charity is the Developmental Services Center in Champaign.  So yes, you can help.  You can financially support the run by sending us a check.  If you or your business donates $150 or more, we'll put your name on our shirt as a donor.

Another thing you can do is sign up to run the race.  You don't have to run to sign up.  By signing up and paying the fee, you get a goodie bag and a race shirt.  The day of the race, you can either come out to Homer Lake and join us in supporting the cause, or stay home content in the knowledge that you did a good thing by helping to support an excellent charity.

If you'd like to donate, just contact us at and we'll give you further instructions.

Thank you in advance for your generous support these last four year!
